Unlock Instructions

This troubleshoot guide will help you resolve most of the common problem for unlocking a Blackberry. Use Unauthorized Sim Card is not the best way to unlock Blackberry. I recommend you using my instruction. This guide is base on my instructions. Therefore, if you tried other website instruction, click Unlock Instruction on Menu Bar and try my instructions first. If the problem is still existed, come back to this troubleshoot guide. After type mepd, you will see this list: If any one of the five is Active, the phone is still locked. If all Disabled/Inactive mean the phone is unlocked.

Sim: Disabled

Network: Active (Phone is locked) or Disabled/Inactive (Phone is Unlocked)

Network Subset: Disabled

Service Provider: Active (Phone is locked) or Disabled (Phone is Unlocked)

Corporate: Disabled

WARNING: If you type mep2 (Atl 2) and you see Network MEP Box with less 3 attempt. STOP! DO NOT enter any code. You should contact us first. Normally, you should have 10 Left attempts.

Code Error for all Blackberry Model:

Problem: I enter the code and phone said “Code Error”.

Solution: First, you need to recheck if you give me the correct IMEI number by type *#06# on the phone. Second, check if you provided me the correct information about the phone Carrier & Model. Because Blackberry code is calculated base on IMEI number, Original Carrier, and Model. Any one of this information is wrong, the code will be wrong. After you verify the information is 100% correct, continue to check these common problems below. It is unlikely my system provides you the wrong code, but it does happen. You can always email me to request for code verification.

8300 and newer Blackberry Model:

Problem: When I use the mepd and mep2 unlock method. I see Network MEP have 0 Left attempts.

Solution: The phone is now permanently locked to the original carrier. As of today, there is no solution to resolve this 0 Left attempt problem. If anyone find a solution, email me and I will give you 100 free Blackberry code after I verify the information you provide is accurate.

AT&T Blackberry 9800 and 9810:

Problem: When I insert an Unauthorized Sim Card, the phone asking for Network Code but when I enter the code, it said “Code Error”.

Solution: Use Unauthorized Sim Card is not the best way to unlock a Blackberry. Click Unlock Instruction and use my instruction. Pay attention to how many attempt you have left after you type mep and hold Atl key and number 2. If after you type mep2 and the Network MEP box open with 0 Left. This means someone already tried the entire attempt and this phone is now permanently locked.

Spring & Verizon Blackberry:

Problem: I can type mepd, but when I try to type mep2. The phone does not give me Network MEP box to enter the code. The phone remains in Personalization screen, it show a blank Personalization screen.

Solution: 99% chance your phone already unlocked. Go to Menu>Manage Connection>Mobile Network Options and change from CDMA Mode to GSM Mode, then restore all wireless.

Spring & Verizon Blackberry:

Problem: After I can type mepd, I cannot type mep2 (Atl 2). The phone does not give me Network MEP box to enter the code. The phone remains in Personalization screen with the list as follow:

Sim: Disabled

Network: Disabled/Inactive

Network Subset: Disabled

Service Provider: Disabled

Corporate: Disabled

Solution: If everything is inactive or disabled, that mean the phone is unlocked. Go to Menu>Manage Connection>Mobile Network Options and change from CDMA Mode to GSM Mode, then restore all wireless.

Verizon Blackberry 9530 and 9550:

Problem: When I type mepd and mep2 (Atl 2), the Network MEP box appear. But when I enter the unlock code, the phone said “Code Error” but the 10 Left still remain 10 Left.

Solution: Your phone need to upgrade OS, go to Blackberry or Verizon website and upgrade your OS. After you upgrade, the phone will accept the code.

Verizon Blackberry 9650:

Problem: When I enter an Unauthorized Sim Card, the phone asking for Network Code but when I enter the code, it said “Code Error”.

Solution: This 9650 have this known issue; after you enter an Unauthorized Sim Card, you enter code, the phone said “Code Error” but the phone actually already unlocked. Go to Menu>Manage Connection>Mobile Network Options and change from CDMA Mode to GSM Mode, then restore all wireless. Turn off your phone, take out the battery and wait 1 minute then turn the phone ON. Try to make a phone call, if you cannot make a call, go to my instructions and use my mepd and mep2 unlocking method to check if Network is Active. If the phone Network is still active, continue with my instructions. Use Unauthorized Sim Card is not the best way to unlock your Blackberry.
